Preserving Our Yesterdays for Tomorrow

 Help Save Historic Woolsey Church!

Faces of Woolsey, Georgia (and nearby towns)

Nestled in the heart of Georgia, the small town of Woolsey holds a treasure trove of history and stories waiting to be uncovered. Friends of Historic Woolsey is dedicated to preserving the town's historic church, cemetery, and the stories of the people who have lived in, settled in, and built the town – those who have called Woolsey home. Even those who did not reside in Woolsey but had connections to the town have stories. These connections, whether through business, family, friendship, or other ties, highlight the far-reaching impact of Woolsey and its people.

Together, we can ensure that the stories of Woolsey, Georgia, continue to inspire and educate for generations to come. Please share your Woolsey stories and photos with us.
