To honor the legacies of Dr. Ferrol Sams Jr. and Dr. Woolsey, we have created a space to celebrate the heart of our community.
Through the lens of literature, art, and local history, we explore the stories that define us. Whether it is through the work of regional authors and artists, or our commitment to preserving the architecture and landscapes of our past, our goal is to keep these traditions alive for the next generation.
Just as Dr. Woolsey donated the land for our first school, we believe in the power of education to strengthen our community. We are honored to continue this work by advocating for the preservation of our significant sites and by hosting local conversations that deepen our understanding of small-town life and southern heritage.
