Every photograph tells a story. Behind each face is a person who helped shape the history of Woolsey and the surrounding communities.
Friends of Historic Woolsey is dedicated to preserving not only Historic Woolsey Church and its cemetery but also the stories of the people who worshiped there, lived nearby, worked in the community, and helped build the town and community of Woolsey.
The story of Woolsey reaches beyond its town boundaries. Many individuals who never lived in Woolsey still have meaningful connections through family, friendships, businesses, and shared experiences. Their stories are part of the larger history of this community and deserve to be remembered.
